Abstract:
To prevent solids having departed from a returning conveyor chain from collecting on the roof tray and solidifying so that the conveyor chain always moves smoothly.SOLUTION: Multiple rakes 52a, 52b are mounted with proper intervals so as to support a roof tray 22 above a water tank 1 and have tip edges 52a', 52b' oriented toward the outer circumference of the endlessly formed conveyor chains 51a-51d. Also, multiple scrapers 90a, 90b are attached to the conveyor chain at proper intervals so that the tip edges 90a', 90b' are inwardly oriented. The conveyor chain is wound around sprockets 36a-36d so as to rotate around the roof tray 22 as a return route, thereby solids on the roof tray are moved backward by the scrapers 90a, 90b and dropped from the rear edge part of the roof tray to the rear of the water tank 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
