To obtain a new compound having inhibitory action against the expression of adhesive molecule, and useful for the therapy and/or prophylactic of various inflammatory diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, allergy, bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis and the like.
This new compound is a compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are each H, a 1-8C alkyl or the like; J is Ja or Jb; Ja is a halogen or the like; J" is OH or the like; E is a single bond, O, S or the like; G is a 1-8C alkyl, a 2-8C alkenyl or the like; the bond indicated with full line and broken line is a single bond or a double bond), pref. 2-(1-trifluoromethyl-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3- a]quinoxalin-4-yl)thioethyl sulfonic acid sodium salt or the like. The compound of formula I is obtained, for example, by reacting a compound of formula II (R1-1 and R2-1 are synonymous with R1 and R2, respectively; XX is an eliminable group) with a compound of the formula H-Ea-1-G (Ea-1 is O, S or the like) [e.g. a (2-mercaptoethane) sulfonic acid sodium salt].
