Abstract:

To provide a condenser capable of thinning the size and reducing parts count, while ensuring the filling characteristic of a refrigerant.

The condenser 1 includes a first header tank 5 into and from which the refrigerant flows with respect to the outside, a core 2 formed of tubes 3 and outer fins 4 alternately piled up, a first modulator tank 11, and a second modulator tank 12 communicating with the inside of the first modulator tank 11 and provided to follow the side in the tube piling direction Z of the core 2. The first modulator tank 11 communicates with the inside of a second header tank 6 for inflow of the refrigerant from the inside of the second header tank 6 and is provided to follow the side in the tube longitudinal direction of the second header tank 6. The second modulator tank 12 is joined to the outer fin 4 arranged at the end in the tube piling direction Z in the core 2.
