Title:
CONDUCTIVE COMPOSITION FOR BIO-ELECTRODE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3443715
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive composition for a bio-electrode, by which the impedance between an electrode and the skin can be reduced.
SOLUTION: A gel conductive composition for a bio-electrode has a function of connecting a living body and an electrode element to each other electrically and physically and is composed of at least the following components: 1. a radical polymerized unsaturated compound, 2. one plasticizer of polyatomic alcohol, amine and ethers, 3. a moiturizer for assisting and promoting the physiological moisture keeping function of the horny layer of the skin, 4. a polymerization initiator, and 5. a crosslinking agent. At the time of using the above composition, the water content of the horny layer is increased by the moiturizer to lower the impedance to the skin.
