Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a conductive conjugate fiber excellent in fiber production stability and good in durability of conductivity on post-processing and mounting treatments.
CONSTITUTION: This conductive conjugate fiber is composed of a non-conductive layer component A comprising a fiber-forming polymer and a conductive layer component B comprising a thermoplastic polymer containing conductive metal oxide particles whose surfaces are treated with a silane compound of the following formula. (Rj)m-Si-(Ri-CH=CH2)n [Rj is a halogen, a 1-5C alkoxy or OROR' (R is a 1-5C alkylene; R' is a 1-5C alkyl); Ri is direct bond or divalent organic group; (m), (n) are 1 or larger integers satisfying an equation of m+n=4].
