Abstract:
To provide a conductive film precursor capable of providing a conductive film with less plating unevenness or variation in resistance, and excellent in surface resistance and haze properties.
The conductive film precursor 10 is obtained by allowing a silver halide emulsion layer 16 to undergo line pattern exposure and development, in which a layer having developing silver is outermost relative to a support, an amount of a binder based on the silver in the layer having developing silver is 0.3 and 2.0 by a volume ratio. In a vertically cut cross section of a thin line 18 formed of the developing silver, a lateral face 22 of the thin line 18 has a slope of 0.7 at the half thickness of the thin line.
