Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title polymer which is smooth and texture-free by dissolving specified dithiophene and a specified conductive water-soluble organometallic compound salt in a solvent and polymerizing the solution through electrolysis with a metal-coated glass electrode. CONSTITUTION:Dithiophene in an amount to give a 0.1-0.001M concentration and a water-soluble organometallic compound salt containing iron, copper, cobalt or nickel (desirably metal phthalocyanine) in an amount to give a 0.01-10mM concentration are dissolved in a solvent containing a bipolar aprotic solvent and water in a ratio of 30:70-10:90 (by vol.%) (desirably aqueous acetonitrile solution), and this solution is polymerized through electrolysis under conditions of 0-95 deg.C, 0.1-10V and 0.1-60min with a glass electrode coated with platinum, palladium, indium, gold, a mixture thereof, an alloy or indium-tin oxide to give the title conductive polymer.
