Abstract:

To obtain a polyvinyl alcohol-based fiber that has practically sufficient mechanical properties, heat resistance and conductive performance, is made into paper or a fabric such as nonwoven fabric, woven fabric, knitted fabric and extremely useful for various uses including charging material, discharging material, brush, sensor, electromagnetic wave shielding material, electronic material, etc., and to provide a method for producing the same.

The conductive polyvinyl alcohol fiber is obtained by dispersing copper sulfide fine particle having ≤50 nm average particle diameter in an area from the fiber surface layer part to 150 nm depth.
