Title:
CONDUCTIVE POWDER AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3431726
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide conductive powder which can keep a balance of transparency and consealment performance when it is added to base material and does not hinder adjustment of color tone by a coloring material and can be inexpensively manufactured and whose electric conductivity is stabilized to a temperature change and which has high dispersibility into plastic and by which a coating film covering the surface of the powder is not separated even when it is added to the base material.
CONSTITUTION: This is a powder mixture of powder composed of a particulate core material of barium sulfate and a coating film of tin dioxide covering its surface and powder composed of particulate core material of titanium dioxide and a coating film of tin dioxide covering its surface. A relative quantity of barium sulfate and titanium dioxide is a quantity to satisfy [TiO2/(TiO2+ BaSO4)=0.03 to 0.40 (the weight ratio), and tin dioxide occupies 30 to 80wt.% of the powder mixture, and a specific electric resistance value of the powder mixture is 10° to 103ω.cm, and the total light beam transmissivity of a coating film made by using the powder mixture is 15 to 70%.
