To obtain a composition for a conductive resin, which is obtained by dispersing a vapor grown carbon fiber into a resin and which is readily formed into a thin coating film and the conductive resin which is obtained from the composition and has functions of electromagnetic shielding properties, electric field shielding properties and static electricity removing properties.
The composition (solution) for a conductive resin is obtained by previously stirring a solution of a film-forming component in a polar organic solvent and a dispersion of the vapor grown carbon fiber in a polar organic solvent, uniformly dissolving or dispersing both the liquids and further stirring the liquids. The conductive resin is obtained by reacting and solidifying the composition.
