PURPOSE: To stabilize sliding contact between a conductor and a brush from the initial step so as to prevent generation of a noise and a signal transmission error due to a chattering phenomenon based on unstable sliding contact by surface-treating a skid to a brush contact surface of the conductor coated with an insulating sheath.
CONSTITUTION: In an insulation trolley wire for feeding signal and controlling power relating to a moving electric equipment, an insulation trolley conductor 12 is coated with an insulation trolley insulating sheath, not shown in the drawing, except a sliding surface 12a which is a brush contact surface of the conductor 12. Here, the above-mentioned sliding surface 12a is surface-treated by applying, for instance, a solid lubricant, which is a skid 5, and a carbon- contained copper alloy or carbon fiber. Thus in even a condition of the new insulation trolley conductor 12 just after laying the insulation trolley wire, sliding contact with a brush is stabilized. Generation of a noise and a signal transmission error due to a chattering phenomenon, based on unstable sliding contact, is eliminated.
