Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cake product suitable for ice cream, etc., in high efficiency e.g. by inserting individual pieces of a formed chocolate, etc., having a characteristic shape into a cake material maintained tin frozen state, at a low temperature or at an ambient temperature. SOLUTION: Individual pieces of a formed chocolate or a fat-containing cake material each having a characteristic shape such as a cartoon character, an animal, a star, a figure or a letter such as alphabet (having a maximum dimension of <=5cm and a volume of preferably 5-10,000mm<3> ) are inserted and/or distributed in a cake material (e.g. ice cream) maintained at freezing temperature, low temperature or ambient temperature to obtain a cake product. The ratio of the formed chocolate piece is preferably 1-50g per 100mL of the cake product.
