Abstract:

To provide a confectionery having a bitter-sweet flavor, since a commonly commercialized Monaka (wafers filled with bean jam) ice cream, Monaka type confectionery and chocolate confectionery are associated with sweet taste on eating, and although there seems to be many people who like the bitter-sweet taste e.g. Teriyaki (fish, etc., broiled with soy sauce) flavor, or sauce for seasoning various dishes, there seems to be no such confectionery added with such the flavor.

The confectioneries having the bitter-sweet flavor, such as the Monaka ice cream, Monaka type confectionery and chocolate confectionery are provided with that a material becoming a wrap for covering ingredients is seasoned moderately by powdered soy sauce, various powdery extracts, spices, seasonings, etc., so as to have the bitter-sweet or a hot flavor, and exhibits the bitter-sweet flavor on eating.
