PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conference system wherein the progress of conference can be easily expedited by editing displayed information freely and directly to eliminate complicated operations.
SOLUTION: The conference system has a plurality of hand-held terminals comprising a means 413a which receives inputs of information to display them auxiliary processing devices 408a for processing information, and a communication means 407a to exchange information among the plurality of hand-held terminals. The devices 408a each include a means to direct, each other, editing of information stored in the devices and a means to edit the directed information according to an editing method directed. One of the plurality of hand-held terminals includes a means to decide priority for an editing direction from the means to direct editing. The means to decide priority gives editing allowance to one of the terminals according to the priority for the editing direction from the terminals, and the means transmits information, through a communication means 407a, to the other terminals to reject editing direction.
