To provide a polyester based conjugated monofilament having excellent abrasion resistance useful for various industrial textile materials and excellent in process passage in yarn-making and weaving, and various industrial textiles using this conjugated monofilament at least in a part such as paper making textiles like papermaking wire and dryer canvas or the like, textiles for belt such as a dryer belt for sanitary goods or the like and textiles for filter such as filter for various belt press, filter for cement or the like.
This conjugated filament consists of a sea-island structure using as the island component, a polyester composition (X) comprising 0.5 to 40 wt.% of a block copolymer (A) comprising (a) a propylene-ethylene random copolymer component, (b) polypropylene component and (c) polybutene component and (B) 99.5 to 60 wt.% of polyester, and (Y) the polyester component as the sea component. The above described conjugated monofilament is preferably used at least a part of industrial textile like textile for paper-making, textile for belt and textile for filter.
