PURPOSE: To facilitate connection of rovings to each other.

CONSTITUTION: The tail of a roving 1 is cut partly to make it finer. Threads 1' and 1" branched from the roving 1 are bound to each other to form a loop 6. The threads 1' and 1" are pulled to arrange and passed through a tightening ring 5 of a roving 4. The roving 4 is passed through the loop 6 and the tightening ring 5 in order. Accordingly, the connecting work for the rovings 1 and 4 are facilitated. Since the connected parts of the rovings 1 and 4 are finer, a guide member is easy to pass. After the threads are cut, its bound portion is released easily.
