To provide a connecting device capable of surely connecting a pair of members with an inexpensive constitution.
This connecting device comprises a first connecting tool 22 mounted on a seat part body 3 and a second connecting tool 23 mounted on an armrest body 5, and the first connecting tool and the second connecting tool have the same shape respectively composed of a strip member 22a, 23a, an inserting part 22b, 23b formed on one side face at one end part of the strip member, and a bent part 22c, 23c bent toward one side face side, at the other end part of the strip member. The first connecting tool and the second connecting tool are respectively mounted on a first member and a second member in a state of being vertically inverted, and the bent parts are respectively inserted into the inserting parts of the mating connecting tools to connect the first member and the second member.
