Abstract:
To provide a pile head connecting device simply and economically providing a pile head pin joining or an elastic spring joining as a method for improving an earthquake-proof safety performance of the pile.
This connecting device is arranged between the head of the pile body supporting a structure and the structure or a foundation hooting of the structure. This pile head connecting device uses a laminated rubber body comprising a circular or a cylindrical single-layer rubber elastic body or two-layer or more rubber elastic body and a steel plate as major members, and is characterized by enabling some horizontal distortion and main rotational distortion.
