Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a new electrode placed horizontally into a vertical condition, by providing a tiltably rolling mechanism for tiltably rolling the horizontal new electrode to vertically retain it, and a transfer mechanism for transferring a new electrode on a mounting base to transfer one by one to the tiltably rolling mechanism.
SOLUTION: New electrodes 1 placed horizontally can be automatically set vertically, because a transfer mechanism 4 for connecting a mounting base 2, for placing new electrodes 1 to traverse, and a tiltably rolling mechanism 3, for tiltably rolling the electrodes 1, is provided to transfer the electrodes 1 on the mounting base 2 one by one to the mechanism 3. That is, a burden to a worker can be reduced, and also work efficiency can be sharply improved. Also, since a housing box 19 for taking out a pallet 56 and so on are provided on the mounting base 2, the electrode 1, in a packing style as packed up by an electrode maker, can be placed on the base 2. Stable tiltably rotation, and quick delivery of the electrodes 1, can be made despite the existence of some position slippage when the electrodes 1 are placed on the base 2 by providing a positioning device 35 to the mechanism 3.
