PURPOSE: To draw an inspection vehicle by connecting it to an exclusive rescue vehicle through a connecting mechanism, when the traveling of the inspection vehicle has become impossible, or to reduce the traction by supplying power from the rescue vehicle to the inspection vehicle.

CONSTITUTION: A connection indicating device 9 and a first connecting member 12 are provided to the front part or the tail part of a monorail-type inspection vehicle 10 via a fitting plate 8. An exclusive rescue vehicle 11 is provided with a second connecting member 13 for fittedly connecting the first connecting member 12, and also provided with a television camera 16 for observing the connection state of both connecting members 12, 13. The second connecting member 13 and the television camera 16 are fitted to a universal head 15 of three degree of freedom via a radially movable plate 21. The universal head 15 is fitted to the fitting plate via a first stage revolving plate 17. The second connecting member is made to be movable in the axial direction by a driving motor 25 via a gear union 27.
