Abstract:
PURPOSE: To visually confirm the fixed state in a quick connecting mechanism for airtightly inserting a rigid pipe into a connector by providing a bush slidable from a first position to a second position within the connector, and fitting it through a separable extension part.
CONSTITUTION: A rigid pipe 2 having a shoulder (bead part) 2c located with prescribed distance from an end 2b is mounted within a connector 1 provided on the end of a flexible pipe A, and a cylindrical part 2a at the end of the rigid pipe 2 is inserted into a proper housing 1a within the connector 1 through an O-ring 3. A fixed member (sleeve) 4 having protruding blades 4a on the inside is provided in the chamber consisting of the cylindrical extension part 1b with corrugated folded part of the connector 1, and a resin-made bush 5 is slidably fitted in the sleeve 4. The bush 5 is inserted up to a prescribed position by an extension part 5b with a bead 5e, which is continuously provided through an easily breakable low-resistance part 5c.
