Abstract:
PURPOSE: To highly accurately and inexpensively adjust the positions of the 0/1 of double-sided magnetic heads without using media for adjustments.
CONSTITUTION: A jig 21 in which a coil 24 is wound around a magnetic plate 23 having a gap 22 is used as a transmitting unit and cores 30, 40 of first and second magnetic heads are used as receiving units. Then, the positions of first and second magnetic heads are adjusted so that electromagnetic coupling rates become nearly maximum, that is, outputs of coils 35, 45 of first and second magnetic heads become maximum.
