PURPOSE: To decrease the number of connecting parts such as a connector plug, etc. by using the sockets for flat cables and by using the flat cables as the lead wires of astepping motor.

CONSTITUTION: As for the connecting method of a motor, a socket 48 for flat cables are used, while a flat cable 47 is used as a lead wire of the motor 41. In addition, an end of this flat cable is uncoated to a necessary length to expose a terminal conductor 47a. Then the terminal conductor 47a formed at an end of this flat cable 47 is directly inserted to the socket 48 for flat cables. With the connecting method as constituted above for the motor, the number of connecting parts such as connector plugs, etc. are decreased for driving astepping motor.
