PURPOSE: To surely prevent scatter of a leaked fuel in a connection part to the outside by respectively mounting a joint metal fitting so as to envelop a pressure receiving seat surface formed in a main pipe in line with which a plurality of branch connectors are successively provided, and arranging an auxiliary main pipe almost concentrically outside the main pipe between these joint metal fittings.
CONSTITUTION: In a high pressure fuel manifold of a diesel internal combustion engine, branch pipes 5, having a flow path 5a serving as a branch connector at a right angle to an axial center direction of a main pipe l, are connected by using a joint metal fitting 4 through tightening a nut 7 so as to press attach a press head part 6 in the end part of the branch pipe 5 to a spherical pressure receiving surface 3' in the end part of a through hole 3 formed in the main pipe 1. In a connecting structure thus obtained, an auxiliary main pipe 25 is arranged concentrically outside the main pipe 1 between the adjacent joint metal fittings 4, to connect both ends of this pipe 25 respectively to the joint metal fitting 4 by welding or the like. In this way, even when generated a leak of fuel in a position of the joint metal fitting 4, the fuel can be discharged to the outside through inside the auxiliary main pipe 25, to prevent scattering or the like of leak fuel.
