Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of plates for joint, bolts and nuts and make it easier to temporarily receive a suspended beam.
CONSTITUTION: A steel plate 10 is connected and welded to the side of a diaphragm 3 at the lower end of a connection steel pipe 1 for connection with a beam 6 or the diaphragm is expanded beforehand so as to receive the end of the beam 6 and fix it by means of bolt and nut. An angle or L-shaped plate 12 of special alloy which fastens the upper end of the beam 6 to the pipe 1 by means of bolt is fixed by bolt and nut. The web on the end of the beam 6 is fixed to the pipe 1 in advance through welded gusset plate 13 by means of bolt and nut. And the end of the beam is received temporarily, so that a joint plate is required only on the side of the beam.
