To provide a connection construction for a pipe line and a hand hole which installs an optical fiber cable and prevents damages to a connection part and maintains the pipe line, even if a large is applied to project it into the hand hole due to ground displacement by earthquake and the like is exerted to the pipe line.

A connection construction is mounted on a connection opening on the sidewall of a hand hole to enable an outer pipe to move in the direction of the inner of the hand hole, when the outer pipe is in waterproof state. A fixing plate for an inner pipe is fixed at the end of the outer pipe, and on inner pipe is fixed to the fixing plate. When the outer pipe is in the waterproof state and is mounted movably, and a sleeve pipe inserted by the outer pipe is fixed to the connection opening on the sidewall of the hand hole, the sleeve pipe is connected to the outer pipe movably and in the waterproof state, or the sleeve pipe may be mounted by a rubber joint so as to be movable by bending in the axial direction of the rubber joint.
