Title:
CONNECTION EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT REINFORCING METAL FITTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3046750
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently resist a considerably large load even when the considerably large load is applied from multi-directions as seen in an earthquake, etc., and to prevent an obstacle at the time of installation of this reinforcing metal fitting by driving bolts or nails.
SOLUTION: This connection earthquake-resistant reinforcing metal fitting 10 consists of at least three plate surfaces different in three dimensions of two engaging plate sections 32, 34 engaged with the L-shaped member surfaces 14'a, 18a of mutually joined column 14' and girder respectively, a triangular side plate section 36 bound at one side edge of these engaging plate sections 32, 34, and an inclined plate section 38 inclined along the inclined plane of the side plate section 36 and extended between edges on the reverse sides of the two engaging plate sections 32, 34. Even when a considerably large vibrational load such as an earthquake is generated in any direction, each three plate section arranged in the different directions can resist the vibrational load while mutually compensating. The width of the inclined plate section 38 is narrower than that of the engaging plate sections 32, 34, and the inclined plate section 38 does not interfere in bolting to the engaging plate sections 32, 34.
