To insert a connection pin at high accuracy into a matrix board by inserting the connection pin between the pawls of a sleeve so as to bring an armature in contact with an electromagnet by the movement a push rod, and thus closing hooks by the pushing of a lever by a projected part.
A drive mechanism supports a push rod slidably by a frame 53 and a sleeve 54, and provides an armature 57 comprising magnetic bodies movably at one end of the push rod 56. Also an electromagnet 58 is fixed to the frame 53 so that a pole resists the armature 57 through a clearance, and the push rod 56 is excited by a compressed coil spring 59 in the direction that the armature 57 is separated from the electromagnet 58. Then, when a connection pin 4 is inserted into a clearance between the pawls 542 of the sleeve 54, the push rod 56 is brought in contact with the electromagnet 58, a projected part 561 on the push rod 56 pushes the lever 552 of a moving body 55 so as to close a clearance between hooks 551, and the connection pin 4 is supported on the sleeve 54 so that it is not tilted.
