A connection position validity judgment method includes steps of: judging whether a user connection device is connected under control of a predetermined broadband access server (BAS) on the basis of data about the BAS when a specific packet for connection processing of the user connection device is received from the BAS; judging whether the user connection device is connected to a predetermined network on the basis of the data of the BAS relating to the user connection device when a affirmative result is obtained in the above judgement step; and acquiring an MAC address of the user connection device and judging whether a connection position of the user connection device is a predetermined connection position in a normal state when a affirmative result is obtained in the above second judgement step. When the connection position of the user connection device is judged to be the predetermined connection position in the normal state, the connection position of the user connection device is then handled as a valid connection position.
