PURPOSE: To facilitate connection, attachment and detachment even when size of terminal is changed at every time of use when a winding terminal of superconducting coil and a power lead are to be connected by a method wherein a terminal box having a heater and inlets for solder is provided at the junction part thereof, and the heater is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal box 14 is provided at the junction part 7 of the winding terminal 1 of superconducting coil and the power lead 2. A heater cover 11 is provided in the box 14 thereof, and the inlets 8a, 8b for solder to pour in solder to the junction part 7, and the heater 10 consisting of heater burying grooves 9, etc., are arranged therein. Moreover side plates 13 are fastened to the side parts by fixing screws 12. Accordingly permeating solder 4 spreads over the junction part 7 even when sizes of the terminal 1 and the lead 2 are changed, and solder can be applied on the whole uniformly.
