Abstract:
To provide a connector fitting structure capable of suppressing damage of a housing.SOLUTION: A thick part 25a which is expanded inward in a lateral direction Y is provided in an inner wall of a male housing 20. The thick part 25a includes an expansion tip end face 25b, and the male housing 20 comprises an inner wall surface 23b of a hood sidewall 23. A female housing 30 which is inserted to the male housing 20 comprises: a first wall surface 33a which is opposed to the expansion tip end face 25b in the lateral direction Y; and a second wall surface 33b which is opposed to the inner wall surface 23b of the hood sidewall 23 in the lateral direction Y. In a state where the female housing 30 is fitted to the male housing 20, a first clearance α is provided between the expansion tip end face 25b and the first wall surface 33a, and a second clearance β is provided between the inner wall surface 23b of the hood sidewall 23 and the second wall surface 33b. A dimension of the second clearance β in the lateral direction Y is larger than a dimension of the first clearance α in the lateral direction Y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
