To provide a manual type connector for memory card capable of automatically pushing back a memory card which has been inserted.
In the connector 1 for memory card in which a card insertion port 4 is formed by opening one of a cabinet (housing main body 2 and plate 3), in which contacts 5 to be electrically connected to a card pad part MC2 by contacting with it are installed at the housing base part 21 opposed to the card insertion port 4 in a plurality of numbers, and in which the card pad part MC2 and the contacts 5 are connected when the memory card MC is inserted from the card insertion port 4, a spring body 7 capable of pressing the inserted memory card MC is installed at the housing base part 21, and the spring body 7 moves the position of the memory card MC which has been inserted into the deepest part to a card insertion port 4 side by an energizing force, and places it at a prescribed position.
