A connector module for protecting a communication apparatus from overvoltage comprises: a printed circuit board composed of an insulator; a pulse transformer provided on the first surface or the second surface, i.e., the back side of the first surface, of the printed circuit board; primary printed wiring provided on the first surface of the printed circuit board, and connected with the primary of the pulse transformer via a primary lead wire; and a secondary printed wiring board provided on the second surface of the printed circuit board, and connected with the secondary of the pulse transformer via a secondary lead wire.
