PURPOSE: To enable safe connection by preventing the erroneous array of safety luminaires for connection type construction such as a tube light, a light bar for a single pipe stand, etc., due to the non-discrimination of a female and a male.

CONSTITUTION: Stepped sections mutually inserted in a pair of covers 3 are formed to the covers 3, to which wiring cords 4 in two phase or three phase are connected and which consist of an insulating material, while cylindrical male type fitting sections 7 are projected from the undersides of the stepped sections as the stepped projecting sections are formed in female type fitting sections 5 and inserting holes, into which the male type fitting sections 7 are inserted, are formed to the female type fitting sections 5. Inserting edges 9 connected to one wiring are stored into the inserting holes of the female type fitting sections 5 and edge receivers 11 bonded with the other wiring into the male type fitting sections 7 while being pulled in from opening sections respectively. The inserting edges 9 and the edge receivers 11 on the stepped lateral piece sides are connected to main current wiring in a connector for three cores, thus constituting the connector Ca of a safety luminaire for connection type construction for two cores or the connector of the safety luminaire for connection type construction for the three cores.
