Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the load needed for tilting a lock portion downward and Wallow the lock portion tilted downward to easily return upward by connecting the lock portion to a receptacle housing by means of a hinge portion having a thinner wall than a hinge connection. CONSTITUTION: As a receptacle housing 5 is inserted into a header housing 105, a lock portion 1 is tilted downward in such a manner that it is pressed by the retaining wall 5A of the housing 105. The other side piece 8 of the lock portion 1 abuts to the abutting part 10B of a spring 10, and the lock portion 1 depresses the spring portion 10. As the housing 5 is inserted, the lock portion 1 depresses the spring portion 10 about the fulcrum 10P of the spring portion 10. As the housing 5 is inserted under this state, the pin 106 of the housing 105 is inserted to a connecting position above the spring portion 10. Once the main body portion 1E of the lock portion 1 has passed beyond the wall 5A, the lock portion 1 is returned to an upper lock position and locked. Thereby the contact surface 10a of the contact portion 10A of the spring portion 10 makes contact with the contact surface 106a of the pin 106, connecting a terminal 6 with the pin 106.
