In a connector provided with a hook 5, which is fitted into a recess 13 of a terminal 12 inserted into a fixing hole 2 formed at a connector body 1 so as to fix the terminal 12 to the connector body 1, the hook 5 is constituted of a slide type hook made of a flat plate having a through hole 6 corresponding to the fixing hole 2. The slide hook 5 is slidably disposed at the upper surface of a bottom plate 1a of the connector body 1, to be thus held in the state in which a hole edge 6a of the through hole 6 is fitted into the recess 13 of the terminal 12 by pressing by a disc spring 8 all the time. When the terminal 12 is detached from the connector body 1, an operating projection piece 7 is pushed to slide the slide hook 5, thereby releasing the hole edge 6a from the recess 13 of the terminal 12.
