Abstract:
To provide a connector which realizes an interface extended so as to distinguish a connector and application with different current values to be required.
A custom receptacle (connector) 3 can be selectively connected with either a normal plug having an interface in accordance with a standard, or a custom plug having an interface expanded from the standard, for example. A custom plug is equipped with an identification key, and the custom receptacle 3 is equipped with a switch terminal 34 that does not have the state thereof changed when fitting with a normal plug, and that has the state thereof changed when fitting with a custom plug by coming in contact with the identification key.
