Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector saving space and improving transmission characteristics.
SOLUTION: This connector comprises a plurality of pin contacts 3, a housing 4 holding these contacts 3, and a ground plate. The ground plate is composed of a first ground plate 5 and a second ground plate 9. At least one of the first and second ground plates is provided with a contact portion connecting with at least one of a plurality of the contact 3, and with a contact portion connecting the first ground plate 5 and the second ground plate 9, with each other. The first ground plate is placed between neighboring contacts. The second ground plate extends in a direction crossing the first ground plate, and is placed between neighboring contacts.
