To reduce or eliminate the temperature dependency of an output current by arranging an element for thermal coupling nearby a current mirror circuit, and sensing ambient temperature and feeding it back to a reference current.
Both the ends of a group of resistances 12-15 which are connected in series are connected to a GND(ground) point 5 and a power source (Vcc) 4. A PNP transistor(TR) 11 for thermal coupling is connected in parallel to the resistances 13 and 14. Further, buffer circuits 16 and 17 buffer the common contact potential Vcont of the resistances 13 and 14. Further, this device is equipped with a resistance 18 for reference current (Iref) setting and PMOS TRs 2 and 3 which constitute a current mirror circuit. Reference current sources in this case are the power source 4, the NPN TR 17, and a resistance 18. Thus, the device is equipped with the element 11 for thermal coupling which is arranged nearby the current mirror circuits 2 and 3 and senses the ambient temperature, and this element 11 for thermal coupling senses and feeds the ambient temperature back to reference current sources 4, 17, and 18 to reduce or eliminate the temperature dependency of output currents of the current mirror circuits 2 and 3.
