Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity joint and a manufacturing method of constant velocity joint capable of shortening a processing cycle time, while maintaining performance.SOLUTION: In a constant velocity joint 100, an outer peripheral surface 41 of a retainer 40 includes: a first outer peripheral surface 44 located on an opening side of an outer side joint member 10; and a second outer peripheral surface 45 which is located further on a bottom side of the outer side joint member 10 than the first outer peripheral surface 44 of the retainer 40, and in which surface roughness is formed to be larger than that of the first outer peripheral surface 44 of the retainer 40. In addition to this, an inner peripheral surface 11 of the outer side joint member 10 includes: a first inner peripheral surface 14 which is located on the opening side of the outer side joint member 10, and in which surface roughness is formed to be larger than that of the first outer peripheral surface 44 of the retainer 40; and a second inner peripheral surface 15 which is located further on the bottom side of the outer side joint member 10 than the first inner peripheral surface 14 of the outer side joint member 10, and in which surface roughness is formed to be larger than that of the first inner peripheral surface 14 of the outer side joint member 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
