PURPOSE: To reduce a burden on foundation piles and improve earthquake-proof property by providing steel pipe pile wall in the ground surrounding a building to be constructed, and unificatedly combining the upper parts of respective steel pipes and the building supported with the foundation piles.

CONSTITUTION: In the ground surrounding a building 1 to be constructed, a steel pipe pile wall 3 in which long steel pipes 5 setting their lower part in a hard layer (a) are arranged at intervals of several short steel pipes 4 and continuously combined with steel pipes 4, 5, is provided. Nextly, the ground surrounded with the steel pipe pile wall 3 is drilled down, foundation piles 2 are sunk, and the building 1 containing underground part is constructed on them. The upper parts of respective steel pipes 4, 5 and the building 1 supported with the foundation piles 2 are unificatedly combined together. Hereby, removing work of a retaining wall is unnecessary.
