PURPOSE: To connect frame units without causing the necessity for using machine screws or the like, by providing fitted parts for a plate material and its seal material to one side of a frame member and a cylinder part and a seal material fitted part to the other side to form the frame member suitable for holding the frame units used for a wind-shield or the like of a small ship.

CONSTITUTION: A windshield 11 provided in front of a seat of a motorboat consists of a central frame unit 21, side frame units 22, 23 and ship side frame units 24, and these frames are connected basically by a frame member 30 consisting of an aluminum extrusion molded article of uniform cross sectional shape. This member 30 is formed in such a manner that a plate material fitted part 31 for a glass plate or the like and its seal material fitted part 32 are provided to one side while a cylinder part 33 and a fitted part 34 for a seal member of a frame unit connection part are protrusively provided to the other side. Then the part 34, partly the part 33 and the part 34, further the part 33 are cut off from said member 30 to respectively form frame members 35, 36 and 37, and these members 35W37 are assembled as shown in the drawing to constitute the windshield.
