Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective roof for a man cage, which can be placed easily and moved easily.SOLUTION: A protective roof W for a man cage 3 with a handrail 31, comprises: a roof section 10; a support arm 11 to support the roof section 10; and a single pipe 13 erected on the handrail 31. One end of the support arm 11 is fixed to a rear end of the roof section 10, and the another end is turnably connected to the handrail 31. The roof section 10 is arranged at a position covering above the man cage 3 by turning and erecting the support arm 11, and the roof section 10 is placed at a position covering above the man cage 3 when a lower surface of the arranged roof section 10 is attached to an upper end of the support member 13. The roof section 10 moves from the position covering above the man cage 3 by removing the support member 13 from the lower surface of the placed roof section 10 and turning and laying down the support arm 11.
