PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of the earthquake-resisting reinforcement of a foundation by providing a vertical hole on the side of an existing foundation, injecting a hardening agent within a relatively wide range just under the existing foundation through this hole, and forming a columnar foot protection part to reinforce the circumference of a foundation pile.
CONSTITUTION: A ground improving vertical hole 2 is drilled from the side of an existing foundation 1, a pipe 3 as a rod is inserted to this vertical hole 2 by use of a constructing machine 6, and a suspension type chemical or a cement solidifying agent or cement milk hardener is injected from the lower end of the pipe 3. At the injection of the solidifying agent, it is sprayed at a super-high pressure to cut the ground, and the soil grains and the hardener are mixed and stirred, or a columnar foot protection part 4 is formed within a relatively wide range just under the existing foundation 1 by substitution. This method can be applied when a pile head is broken by an earthquake. The circumference of a foundation pile 5 is reinforced to reinforce the horizontal supporting force at earthquake. Thus, an earthquake-resisting reinforcement can be executed with a simple method.
