Title:
CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR INSTALLING GATE WITHOUT CUTTING OFF WATER SUPPLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3849966
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for installing a gate without cutting off water supply, making it possible to install the gate in a gate chamber through simple operations while keeping water flow downstream.
SOLUTION: The method includes (1) a process for sealing the inflow port 2 and the outflow port 3 of the gate chamber 1 and communicating the ports with each other by means of a flow passage pipe 5, (2) a process for draining water in the gate chamber 1 and installing a water cut-off plug 11 inside the flow passage pipe 5 to cut off water in the flow passage pipe 5, (3) a process for temporarily installing the gate 51 at the outflow port 3 or the inflow port 2 after the flow passage pipe 5 mounted at the outflow port 3 is partially and temporarily removed from the outflow port 3, and (4) a process for removing the water cut-off plug 11 from the flow passage pipe 5 after re-sealing a portion of the flow passage pipe 5 temporarily removed from the outflow port 3 and mounting it at the outflow port 3.
