This construction method for a membrane sheet to a tank inner surface comprises a sheet fixing process to fix the membrane sheet 2 to a holding frame 1, a sheet position deciding process to connect the holding frame 1 having the membrane sheet 2 to a fixing support member provided on the tank inner surface, and decide an installation position of the membrane sheet 2 fixed to the holding frame 1, a sheet jointing process to joint the membrane sheet 2 positioned in the above process with an existing membrane sheet adjacent to it, and a holding frame removing process to remove the holding frame 1 from the membrane sheet jointed in the above process and the fixing support member.
