To provide a construction method of a steel pipe sheet pile structure capable of rapidly improving strength and rigidity by fixing a distance between both steel pipes to raise the constrained effect by mortar inside of a joint and the steel pipe sheet pile structure.
The steel pipe 2 is composed of a steel pipe body 3, a female joint 5 and a male joint 7 formed by fixing each of a pair of angle steels to the steel pipe body 3 in parallel with the axial direction. A hole 55 is bored in an outer claw 15 of the female joint 5. A spacer 11 is fixed to an inner claw 19 of the male joint 7. When the female joint 5 is fitted to the male joint 7, the spacer 11 is made to come into contact with the circumferential surface 4 of the steel pipe body 3 fixing the female joint 5 thereto to force widen an interval between both steel pipe bodies 3 of the adjoining steel pipes 2 to adhere the outer claw 15 to the inner claw 19 by moving earth and sand between the outer claw 15 and the inner claw 19 to the outside through the hole 55 by the pressure, and an interval between the adjoining steel pipe bodies 3 is fixed.
