To provide an underground continuous wall excellent in strength, homogeneity and water stop ability by repeating work of placing concrete in a form installed on the ground surface with a continuous ditch held between, solidifying the concrete to form a concrete wall and lowering the concrete wall into the continuous ditch.
A form F is installed on the ground surface with a continuous ditch G held between and along the continuous ditch G. A longitudinal reinforcement 11 is vertically installed at the center part in the form F, and the longitudinal reinforcement 11 is inserted through the center of a jack 5. Concrete is then placed in the form F, and after the concrete is solidified, a concrete wall C with the vertical reinforcement 11 embedded and fixed is lowered into the continuous ditch G by the action of the jack 5. Concrete is then placed in the form F continuously on the lowered concrete wall C. The same work is repeated to extend the concrete wall C continuously and to fill the inside of the continuous ditch with the concrete wall C, thus constructing an underground continuous wall.
