Title:
CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR VERTICAL SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006169890
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a technique capable of constructing a strong vertical shaft by introducing prestress in axial and circumferential directions of the shaft, with which the vertical shaft is constructed by pressing precast concrete segments to the ground in such a manner that the segments can be sequentially stacked.

In the construction method for the vertical shaft by pressing and stacking the precast concrete segment rings to the ground wherein a number of prestressed concrete (PC) steel bars 11 for precast concrete are arranged diagonally through the thickness of the segments 30, 40, etc. to a cylindrical net pattern, these PC steel bars 11 are tensed and anchored with each tensing anchor 12 for respective rings of bundled steel bars. Then, each ring is connected to the steel bars in adjacent rings in next stages, and the segments 30, 40, etc. are sequentially pressed and sunk to the ground thereby forming a vertical shaft wall 10.
