Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a door glass to be held stably by holding the rear end of the door glass between a pair of glass sealing lips fitted along rigid mounting flanges formed at an opening for passing the rear end of the door glass. CONSTITUTION:At the rear part of waist section of a door inner panel 5, an opening 8 is formed for passing the rear end 3a of a door glass 3. The opening 8 is further extended into the door to form mounting flanges 5a and 5b. A pair of glass sealing lips 2c and 2b are formed integrally with a sealing black 2A and the said lips extend along the mounting flanges 5a and 5b within the door. The rear end 3a of the door glass 3 is sandwitched between end lips 2e. With this construction, the rear end 3a of the door glass 3 can be stably held without a stabilizer which was formerly used.
